2.1 Registration and Login Information
To create a Cozyla ID, we collect your email address and password. You may also choose to provide additional profile information such as a username, member role, gender, or an avatar; if you prefer not to, default settings will apply.
In order to comply with child protection regulations, we may also ask for your country of residence and age. Once your Cozyla ID is created, you may also add information about other family members.
2.2 Information You Provide When Using the Service
a. Photographs
We may collect photos and videos that you actively upload while using the service. Photo and video content is stored in our secure cloud hosting provider, and we use reliable modern security practices to protect your privacy. Photos and videos are sent to your Cozyla device using an encrypted protocol and are not accessible to any other party. We will never share or sell your content.
b. Location
To provide certain Services, we may collect your location information (e.g., city) in order to display local temperature and forecasts within the weather feature.
c. Meals Information
When you use the Meals feature and associated features such as grocery list on your Cozyla device, we may collect information you voluntarily provide, including dietary preferences, food allergies, recipes, and ingredients.
d. Calendar Information
When using the Calendar feature, we collect details you input, including event titles, descriptions, participating family members, whether the event is all-day or recurring, and whether you set a reminder.
e. Tasks Information
When using the Tasks feature (Routines, Chores, To-dos and Rewards), we collect the information you enter for each task — such as title, assignees, repetition and recurrence settings, start/end dates, due time, reminders, and reward-related details (points and redemption options). This data is used to manage, sync, and notify about tasks across your family's devices.
f. Conversation Interaction Information
When you use the AI-powered conversation function, chatting with Cozyla AI, we collect your input data, including text, photos and voice messages. These inputs are analyzed to enhance our understanding of your inquiries and context, enabling us to provide you with responses tailored to your specific needs. We may also collect click behavior and content you generate when you use this feature to create calendar events.
2.3 User Feedback
We may collect voluntary feedback you provide, such as ratings and survey responses. These are optional and you may choose to skip them at any time.
2.4 Purchase Information
When you purchase a Cozyla device, we collect your name, phone number and shipping address to deliver the product, and your billing address for payment processing. You can check your order status on our website by entering your order number along with your email address or phone number, or by simply entering your tracking number.
If you choose to refer Cozyla to others through our referral program, we may collect your first name to generate a unique referral code and track the status of your referral rewards.
2.5 Log Data and Analytics
Whenever you use our Services, we may collect diagnostic and usage data in the event of an error or for performance monitoring purposes. This data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app, websites and devices when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. You may also choose to provide us with additional calendar details, such as work, family, or home information, as well as a description of the issue.
We also have access to analytics and logging data regarding when the Services have been used and how they were used. This means that when you view content provided by us, we automatically collect information about your app, websites and devices computer hardware and software. This information can include your IP-address, browser type, domain names, internet protocol services (ISP), the files viewed on our site operating system, access time, etc. This information is used by Cozyla to log general statistics about the Services and improve our user experience.
2.6 Information from Third Parties
We do not receive Personal Data from third party sources unless you connect external applications such as calendars (e.g., Google, Apple, Outlook, CalDAV) or contact services (e.g. Google People, Apple CardDAV) to Cozyla. In such cases, we may collect your third-party account name, authorization tokens or passwords, server address, calendar names, associated calendar events and certain contact information from your address book, including contact names and any birthdays you have stored. This information may be synchronized to our calendar service and displayed as calendar events in order to provide related functionality.
3. Sharing
Except as described in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose Personal Data that we collect on the Service to third parties without your consent. We never sell your Personal Data to any third party.
We may disclose information to third parties in the following circumstances:
Third Party Vendors and Partners. We engage a variety of trusted third-party vendors and partners to support the operation and delivery of our Services. These include:
○ Shipping and Payment Providers. We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for our Services. We share order data such as name, shipping address, billing address with our shipping company. 1. Xcotton Product Protection Plan Service Explanation
We offer optional protection plan for products purchased via the Merchant Official Website. The protection plan covers accidental damage (such as dropping, cracking or spilling liquid on Your Covered Products) and Power surge from the day you purchased the plan. The protection plan also covers mechanical and electrical breakdowns or malformations to Your Covered Product that occurs after the manufacturer's warranty has expired.
2. Xcotton Product Protection Plan Coverage
Xcotton offers 3 Product Protection options: 1 year/2 years/3 years. The product protection plan specifically covers the following:
- Extended warranty after manufacturer's warranty expires.
- Accidental damage.
- Power surge
Example: For a product that comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, the Product Protection Plan covers the following:
1 Year Plan: Includes Accidental Damage Protection and Power Surge Protection for 1 year.
2 Years Plan: Includes Accidental Damage Protection and Power Surge Protection for 2 years, along with a 1-year extended warranty. This means your product will have a total of 2 years of coverage for warranty, accidental damage and power surge. The warranty for the first 1 year is provided by Merchant, while the following 1-year warranty is covered by Xcotton (Partner with AIG).
3 Years Plan: Includes Accidental Damage Protection and Power Surge Protection for 3 years, along with a 1-year extended warranty. This means your product will have a total of 3 years of coverage for warranty, accidental damage and power surge. The warranty for the first 1 year is provided by Merchant, while the following 2 years warranty is covered by Xcotton (Partner with AIG).
3. Xcotton Product Protection Plan Cost
The cost of the protection plan varies depending on the product purchased and the coverage period. You will be able to view the cost during checkout.
4. Xcotton Product Protection Plan Enrollment and Activation
You may enroll in the plan together with the purchase of our products on the Merchant Official Website. Once the protection plan is purchased, you will receive a confirmation email advising details of the protection plan. The coverage period begins from the date you purchase the product.
5. Claims Process
If you experience an issue covered by the product protection plan, you can contact the resolution center through the link on your confirmation email. Follow the instructions on the link and Xcotton’s claims specialist will guide you through the process. Merchant also provide assistance as needed.

6. Returns and Protection Plans
If you decide to return or exchange a product after purchasing the product protection plan, please notify us promptly. The product protection plan may be affected by the returns or exchanges, and specific conditions may apply. Refund = [(Total coverage days - Days used) / Total coverage days] × Product Protection plan price -paid claim amount(s) (if any) - administrative fee (varies by state law, capped at $50 USD).
